Carlo Gallina, CFA – Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Gallina has more than 20 year's experience as Asset Manager. Since 1991 he joined leading investment and financial institutions (i.e. Gemina SpA, BNL Sim, La Compagnie Gestion Sim, Banque Cantonale Vaudoise Sim, Meliorbanca SGR) first as Fundamental Analyst and Portfolio Manager, and consequently as Chief Investment Officer and Managing Director. In 2007 he joined Banca Gesfid Group - Lugano as a Head of Asset Management and Managing Director of SGCM, the Group asset management company. Since October 2010 Mr. Gallina is Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer at Pegaso Capital Partners SA and he is the portfolio manager of Pegaso Capital Strategic Trend. He holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from Università L. Bocconi in Milan and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Massimiliano Angemi – Deputy Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Angemi joined Banca Gesfid in June 2001 where he served as investment manager for two private equity funds. He has developed expertise in fundamental analysis and corporate finance for small and medium sized enterprises. Since 2006 he has been involved in traditional as well as alternative investment funds selection. In 2008 he moved to SGCM where he joined the Fundamental Analysis Team. Since October 2010 Mr. Angemi is Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Pegaso Capital Partners SA. He holds a Master in Merchant Banking and a degree in Economics and Business Administration from Università C. Cattaneo – Castellanza (VA).
Giovanni Saladino – Chairman
In 1990 he joined A.F.A. Asset Services Inc., New York, as team member in charge of locating and evaluating european venture capital opportunity. In 1991 joined in London Framlington - CCF Group, as a member of the eurobonds and structured fixed income desk. In 1992 moved to Banca del Gottardo SA - Lugano where he worked with very high net worth individuals customers as Relationship Manager. Between 1993 and 1999 Mr. Saladino was Senior Manager in Banca Gesfid SA - Lugano responsible for Client investment policy and structured products development and marketing. In 2008 he was appointed as General Manager of the Bank and CEO of a private equity fund and has fulfilled those roles till he left the bank in 2009 to become founder and CEO of a private equity fund (Open Mind Investments SICAR). Since January 2011 he is responsible for business development at Pegaso Capital Partners SA. Mr. Saladino holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from Università L. Bocconi - Milan.
